Strong flavors. Food is well made. But they are popular so can be a bit slow at times but be patient, it's worth it.

I always like their XLB, thin skin, lots of soup! The most I ever ate was 3.5 trays. Been coming here for years. Today the skin was easily broken and lost its soup even before we grab it, but I still enjoy them. The lady there always remember us and our dishes, very friendly. Dishes I recommend: - Braised pork belly - Braised pork hock - Any lamb dishes - XLB - Sweet corn pancake

Excellent service (only one waitress for 3 tables and take aways!) Friendly. Lots of parking behind building. Good dumplings, great smoked duck. Good seasonings.

Absolutely amazing! The food here is spectacular, and the service is very attentive. One thing that I would like to draw attention on are the xiao long baos. They had a thin skin with a savory meat inside, and the broth was super flavorful. Great!

Delicious! My mom found this place when we were looking for a place to eat for lunch. I was very surprised by this family owned restaurant how amazing the food tasted. The Steamed Pork Soup and Vegetable Dumplings were very juicy and fresh! I was very surprised by how juicy and delicious the Vegetable Dumplings tasted - I would have ordered another if I wasn't full! The Shanghai Style Noodles are always a favourite and was a big thumbs up for my sister. The only thing we wished more of was cabbage and meat. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good Shanghai food!

A total hidden gem! The hot and sour soup here is loaded with ingredients! I appreciate the many types of mushrooms, bamboo, pork, egg etc.. the soup is a bit thicker than my liking. Beef rolls are so good, I love that they have cucumbers in it and taste fresh like a beef sandwich rolled in chewy crispy Taiwanese style pancake. We also had the Shanghai style fried noodles (not pictured) and Xiao Long Bao dumplings (soup dumplings). It wasn't crowded when we went because we came near the end of the morning hours of operations. The male server and chef (I'm pretty sure he was the only person on staff at this time) was very kind and friendly. Service is more comfortable in Chinese but could accomodate English. Parking on street or in the back parking lot, free for customers. I would come back to try more of their extensive menu. Shanghai cuisine mainly but you'll also see the other Chinese dishes on the menu too! They serve dim sum in the morning before 4pm.

I love this place! I find the food here very authentic and is so delicious. The XLB's are large with a thin skin, and the juices inside are so flavourful. Most XLB's have a very thick skin and the juices are very bland, but you won't find any of that in this restaurant. The chicken broth with dumplings was also very good. Such a rich and strong chicken broth! The hot sour and spicy fish dish was also to die-for! The dan dan noodles were so nutty and the sauce was so thick. The owner was also kind enough to bring out a complimentary dessert- a sesame rice ball with peanuts coated on the outside. Was so extremely yummy without being too sweet. Would highly recommend!
